Day 37: Best lunch ever

We had a friend in town this weekend from Paris, and he found this great little Amsterdam falafel and fries restaurant.  I was only told of the goodness so I went to check it out myself.  So great!

Day 35: Naughty children

There is absolutely no reason why these two children should be up so late.  They're lucky they're so cute.

Day 34: Basilica

We went to Mass at the Basilica at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  It was a beautiful church.  I hope to return soon so I can spend more time investigating.

Day 32: First lady sighting

Sigh...the closest I'll ever be to the First Lady.  She spoke at a conference being held right across the hall from our meeting room.

Day 31: Flag

A very large flag in the lobby of the hotel where my meetings are being held indicates we're about to receive an important guest.

Day 27: Face plant

Poor little Z.  She was just sitting there happy as can be, when she lost her balance and fell straight on her face.

Day 25: Good enough for government work

And yet, I'm still not quite done.  There is a small row of hanging cabinets opposite these.  But these are looking pretty good.

Day 24: Almost done

I've finished the bottom cabinets.  Now on to hang the top ones.

Day 17: Tea and biscuits on a rainy day

S and I ventured out into the rain for a lecture, and so we enjoyed some tea and cookies once we returned to the warmth of the house.

Not something you see every day...a pop-up cranberry bog at the train station.

Day 9: Dining of the future

This restaurant at the Philadelphia airport expects you to just sit at an iPad and order your food and then pay for it.  No waiters.  Bizarre.
