Day 68: Sunset

Much of my birthday was spent sitting in the backseat of the car, wedged between two fussing children, while S drove us back towards DC.  I was quite happy to be with my little family.

Day 67: Dinner with friends

We went over to my aunt and uncle's friends' house for dinner.  Here the uncle is requesting I relinquish my iPhone.

Day 66: Thanksgiving 2013

The feast laid out by my aunt and uncle follows a familiar and comforting routine.

S and A dragged out a box of things we'd shipped from Chicago, and they found this.

Day 63: Work

My blank notebook belies the fact that I have a lot of work going on at the moment.

Day 62: Pepco to the rescue

Our power went out briefly, and we thought nothing of it.  But waking up at 3AM to a cold house because the heat wasn't on shocked us into realizing we didn't really have power.  Or at least, we didn't have all of the power.  One of the three lines that runs to our house (and a few of our neighbors' houses) was down.  The electic company fixed it, and soon we were warm again.
